3 Peaks Challenge – arrangements

Hi team!

Hope all are well and looking forward to our communal meet next Saturday.

7 days to go until All Hallows 3 Peak (ish) picnic! Although you might be put off by the words 3 Peaks (!) the ethos of the walk will be to go at the pace of the slowest, have a lot of fun and of course raise some funds for the church. Think of it as a long picnic or a short one. A day for all to enjoy with or without children of all ages, sizes.

Here’s the plan with various opportunities to join in and opt out. We have arranged it in such a way that if you are not sure, you could still give it a shot to do all 3. But if you get tired after one or two, there will be back up for you to opt out and hop into a car. Please bring food to share and enough water. There is another big sponsored walk going on that day so it’ll be cosy, lots of people will be around to talk to and mix with!

For those who are going to do 2 or 3 peaks with flags (walk headed by Andrea/ Burj):

Please let us know if you intend to come along for any part of the walk so we can make sure we don’t leave without you! It’ll be great to have you all with us, to walk, sit and have a picnic. A jolly good day out for one and all.

If you aren’t able to come but would like to contribute to the day, please sponsor us! We have set ourselves a target of £1000. Here’s the link to the Just giving page (for your hi tech friends) or there’s sponsorship forms at church and a link to print out more here!
