Reflection 7th April 2013

Words from a friend:

‘Don’t give in, but keep
widening the horizons of hope
through your compassion.’

Words for us all
in a world perpetually
tumbling and dancing.
Profound, unmasking words
that break through
our imprisoned vision
and the fears that shadow the planet.

Words for the burdened
who wait for the dawn,
and words for the powerful
who manage the earth.

So hold the words deeply,
and when it’s right
tenderly act upon them
out of joy.

– Peter Millar, Palm Sunday 2013

(Reflections are provided each week by a member of the congregation.)
