A Japanese warrior was arrested by his enemies and thrown in a prison cell. At night he could not sleep as he was convinced that he would be cruelly tortured the next day. Then the words of his Zen Master came to mind: “Tomorrow is not real. The only reality is the present.” So he came to the present — and fell fast asleep.
