This Sunday is a very energetic Sunday! The Leeds Half Marathon is taking place and thousands of runners will be hitting the road in a big loop around north Leeds. You can see details of road closures on their website so that you can plan how to get to church on time! The race starts at 9:30am and church will be open from before 9am if you want to come down early and have a cuppa before the roads close.
Of course, you could leave the car at home and run to church! (Or walk or cycle!)
And if you can’t get to church because of the race why not go and watch and cheer Emily on who is running in the race for the second time to raise money for Rainbow Junktion. Go Emily, go!
We will be welcoming Simon Hall as preacher and he will be sharing his thoughts on Luke 8:22-39. Heston will be leading us in our worship and in sharing the feast of life. We also have a few birthdays to celebrate!
