We have now come to the end of Creation time with the celebration of the feast of St Francis on Friday 4th October. Over the next six weeks we will be exploring the meaning of “The Eucharist” also known as Mass, Holy Communion, The Lord’s Supper, The Last Supper, etc. The Eucharist has been a central practice of most of the Christian church on and off since the time of Jesus but it’s roots go back even further. We hope that you will be able to come and share with us what this meal means to you.
Our meeting is at 10:30am and this Sunday is also our Harvest Festival. If you would like to bring any produce it will be donated to Rainbow Junktion who are specifically looking for sugar, instant coffee, fresh fruit and veg, oil (olive + vegetable), tinned tomatoes, tinned lentils and beans, vegan and gluten-free stock.
And continuing to talk about food! This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month and we usually have a shared lunch together. If you can, do please bring some food to contribute to the lunch and stay after the service to share food and drink.
