All Hallows will be worshipping together remotely on Facebook on Sunday at 10:30am. You can find a service sheet below. Please have candles and a Bible ready and, if you want to join with us in communion, some bread and wine or fruit juice.
Our readings will be from Psalm 103 and the story of Lazarus in John 11 – you may want to read them before the service.
We’ll ponder fear and grief and some of the more painful pandemic emotions- with the help of the bible’s shortest verse ‘Jesus wept’ (John 11:35).
And we’ll look for hope in Jesus ‘the Resurrection and the Life’. Please send Heston prayer requests for candle prayers – and beware the clocks go forward on Sunday morning – if you forget you will miss the live service but we hope to make it available on the website afterwards.
‘Hope frees us to live in the present, with the deep trust that God will never leave us’
