Sunday 20 June – Great Get Together weekend

This Sunday we will be celebrating The Great Get Together weekend – inspired by the late Jo Cox MP, who was killed on 16th June 2016.

Emily Carrigan is joining us to talk about Rainbow Junktion and our plans to ‘get back together’ as a community cafe again this summer. Heston and Emily will be having a conversation discussing the work of Rainbow Junktion, the struggles, storms, hopes and plans. Our readings will be from Mark 4:35-41 (Jesus calming the storm) and Mark 6:30-44 (Jesus feeding 5000).

The service will be live streamed on Facebook or you can attend in person if you book online. You can find the service sheet for the service here. We will be meeting in our virtual Zoom cafe for a socially distanced chat after the service. Do join us if you can.

“We have more in common than that which divides us.”

Jo Cox in her first speech in Parliament
