Amazing things happen under All Hallows’ roof, despite its long history of leaks, buckets and damaged decor. We now need to replace the roof, and it will take all of us to make it possible.
We are committed to our building which is a huge asset to our local community. It has long facilitated the amazing mission of our church, but it is time to ensure that it can continue to do so into the future.
In 2018 we completely refurbished the toilets and add a restricted access shower to the disabled toilets. In 2019 we have also converted most of our lighting to LED.
In the next year, we need to:
- replace the roof with an insulated metal roof that is completely watertight;
- replace the windows and lintels in the toilets;
Our estimate for this work is about £300,000 which we aim to raise by:
- increasing our giving;
- fundraising events;
- applying for grants.
