Dancing on the roof!

As mentioned in the service on Sunday, the scaffolding was being taken down during the service. Before the service, Heston and a few of members of the church were able to go up the scaffolding to inspect the finished roof. It is a year and a week since the scaffolding first went up and over 10 years since we decided to stay in the church building and to work towards fixing the roof. It has been quite a journey!

Here are some photos from Sunday and also from Monday morning once all the scaffolding was taken down plus a photo to remind us of the leaky concrete tiles we used to have.

Richard led our worship on the last Sunday in April. Toby reflected on the juxtaposition of joy and pain, both in Psalm 23 and also in our own lives.

Organ removal

At All Hallows’ we have an organ that hasn’t been played for at least 18 years. Since we consider this redundant to our requirements and would like to use the space for other purposes we have applied for permission to sell it. This requires us to post a document on our website for a month to allow people to comment. At the end of this period, if no one has a serious objection, we will be selling the organ.

If you know anyone who might be interested in purchasing the organ please let them know about it or contact us.
